Please bring a sack lunch and drink that do not require refrigeration or microwave.

 

Parents are invited to return 10 minutes before class finishes for a brief graduation ceremony.

 

Participants gain insight into child behavior and development, learning how to stay calm and in control while caring for kids. Hands-on practice, including diapering, helps build confidence and know-how.

Students are introduced to lifesaving techniques such as CPR and how to respond to choking incidents. They also learn a step-by-step approach to evaluating and handling common injuries and illnesses.

Through interactive role-playing, students build practical skills like how to choose the right job, set rates, and communicate professionally with employers—valuable tools for success in babysitting and beyond.
